Privacy and advertising

nazafilm.org is a community supporter site for the documentary NAZA. It is not operated by the filmmakers, The Guardian, JW Films, or mk2. It does not sell tickets, run a shop, or collect payment. This notice covers the contact form, the email list, advertising cookies, and the analytics tags on these pages.

Who sees what you type

The contact form sends name, email, city, type of help, and your message to a private GitHub collection used only to read offers. Those details are not published on this site. The daily-update form stores email and language only. Do not send medical files, passwords, sealed legal papers, or another person’s home address or travel plans. A new offer opens a GitHub issue so the inbox is notified through ordinary GitHub notifications.

Daily update list

The daily update form asks for an email address and a language. The address, the language, and a timestamp are stored in a private collection so the list can be confirmed and maintained. Confirmation messages and the digest are sent through Resend, from [email protected]. The address is not sold. Leave from the link in a digest or from /updates. Do not use the form to send someone else’s contact details.

Advertising

Google AdSense, a third-party advertising vendor, may show ads on the longer pages of this site. Google and other advertising vendors may set cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, and use similar technologies to serve ads, to personalize ads based on your visits to this site and other sites, to measure how ads perform, and to limit abuse. This site does not choose the creative and does not sell a list of readers. Pages under /stories/ do not load the AdSense script. How Google uses data from sites that use its services is described in Google’s privacy policy and advertising documentation, linked below.

Cookies and similar tech

You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ad Settings, at aboutads.info (Digital Advertising Alliance), or at youronlinechoices.eu (European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance). You can also block third-party cookies in your browser. Blocking cookies can change which ads appear. It does not by itself remove advertising. The language switcher stores one preference in this browser only, under the key nazafilm-lang. That preference is not an advertising cookie.

Third-party vendors

Third-party vendors that may receive technical data when a page loads include Google (AdSense, and fonts when a page requests them); Cloudflare, which hosts the site and runs Cloudflare Web Analytics through a beacon that counts page views; Ahrefs, whose script counts visits; GitHub, which stores contact-form offers and the email-list file; and Resend, which sends the confirmation message and the digest. Festival and press sites may also be contacted when a page shows one of their images. Each vendor has its own policy. This site does not publish a postal address.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16. Do not submit an offer on behalf of a minor.
